Of all the people I know, I love you the most,
We go together like butter and toast.
You give me your love, you take care of my needs,
You help get me to wherever life leads.

If something is not right, you sound the alarm,
And if there is a threat, you protect me from harm.
You keep me safe and sound as I continue to grow,
You’re the most important to me of all the people I know.

We’re meant to be together like toast and jam,
I love who you are, and you love who I am.
You and me are a bundle, all wrapped up together,
Where I’ll be protected from all the hard times that we weather.
