CURIOSITY

Kittens are curious about everything they see or touch,
And curiosity in kids? They should have at least as much.
Kittens watch fish in a tank or chase after string,
They poke their curious little noses into just about anything.

But kids sit on TikTok and don’t seem to care,
That there’s a whole world of wonders waiting for the curious out there.
So does that mean kittens are smarter or have bigger brains? No! It’s just that kids have grown uncurious and no one complains.

It’s time for kids to quit moping around,
And start searching for all of the wonders that are yet to be found.
There’s the moon and stars and castles and knights,
If you are curious, you can have a lifetime full of delights.

I know that a kitten doesn’t have much room to explore,
Because it’s kept in by the front and back door.
And since kids’ chances to be curious are much greater than that,
I know that a kid has to be more curious than a wee pussy cat.
