HOW DO YOU MAKE KIDS HAPPY

How do you make kids happy, and keep them that way?
By offering them a future that is far better than okay,
And giving them a clear pathway to getting there,
And along the way giving them a whole lot of love and
A whole lot of care.

Kids need good role models,
They have to be inspired,
So adults can’t act like they don’t care, or they are just too tired.
Adults have to show up with some zip and some zest,
And double down and give it their best.

And it has to be done now; the changes can’t wait,
Because too many kids everywhere are in such a sad state.
You can’t leave a kid abandoned, sitting alone in their room,
Thinking of nothing but doom and gloom.

We have to make children our top concern,
And if you want kids to trust adults, trust is something that adults will have to earn.
So open all the windows, there is change in the air,
Don’t let the kids sit all alone in gloom and despair.

In kids’ eyes, you see a bit of a gleam,
So give them a future that is an achievable dream.
