TRANSGENDER

Whether a transgender turns into a he or a she,
It shouldn’t matter to you, and it sure doesn’t matter to me.
Whatever the change the kid is going through,
You should always show sympathy, and support what they do.

Whether they go from a Robert to a Jamie or Joan,
Support them and love them, and show they are not alone.
A transgender going through challenges in the body and mind
Soon discovers that sympathy can be quite hard to find.

So stand up for them; show that your friendship is true,
And to be friends, it doesn’t matter if they turn out to be different from you.
And transgenders wear different clothing; don’t make a fuss,
Because they are people, just like us.

We don’t care about gender or the clothes that they’re wearing;
We only want them to be kind, helpful, and caring.
