IT’S ALL ABOUT THE ELEPHANTS

It’s all about the elephants, but why all the fuss?
Because they are living things, and all living things are connected to us.
We have to protect the elephants, keep them from the brink,
Because if they disappear, so will humans, and quicker than you think.

Things are so bad, that when we breathe, we choke,
Because the air is so full of ashes and smoke.
And the same fate awaits every living thing, from a tree to a coral reef,
So it’s up to us humans to quit giving Mother Nature so much grief.

If the elephants go, there isn’t a doubt,
All humans too will be on their way out.
All living things are connected to one another,
And human beings should be leading the way, by helping each other.

So on Earth Day, we take what we call an Earth Shot,
And that helps living things a lot.
It’s all about the elephants; treat them with great care,
And don’t break any of nature’s connections, and that will be a big help everywhere.
