Do
the hip hop
Don't skip a beat
We're pals
We're friends
What a treat!!!

Wildflower
Bloop,
Bloop,
Bloop,
Bloop, bloop.
Open.
Yawn.
Bloop, bloop.
Umbrella yawn.
Bloop, bloop.
Peace and calm.
Bloop, bloop.
Do you write for me to read?
Bloop, bloop.
Do you write to plant a seed?
Bloop, bloop.
And the seed,
Is it a weed?
Bloop, Bloop.
Wildflower!

Punctuate?
Why
must we punctuate everything?!
Why can't we just write?
Free to think?
Without interruption!!!
Don't you see how it gets in the way?
Why must we punctuate?
Well, okay, I'll fit in just a bit
To your standards,
But listen up now!
I refuse to live a punctuated life.
Only on paper will I punctuate.
Understand?

Inside
Your
children delight me.
They run around
inside of you
As if they were rubber balls,
Bouncing.

When
I Look at a Daffodil
When
I look at a daffodil,
I don't just see a daffodil,
No,
I see the whole world.
What's
that, you ask?
Of course, I can't explain it.
You have to do that for yourself.

Why?
Why
does everything have to have a title?
In school, they always want a title.
Why?
Books all have to have titles.
I don't know why.
Wouldn't it be nicer and more fun
If they just had color?
Why, then,
We could read all the blue books,
According to hue, of course,
And when we wanted to move on,
Say, from blue to green,
We could move through blue green first.
Now doesn't that make sense?
Wouldn't that be more fun?
Think of all the surprises.

The
color blue,
No, green,
No, yellow.
Oh, why can't I make up my mind?
Maybe I don't have a mind.
Maybe it is absent.
Do you think?
Oh, why can't I make up my mind?
